Dude seriously it was a real question but it was also a setup question...you don't box dude...any real fighter would be glad to tell you about his craft or even extra curriculars if you want to call it that ...I just wanted to expose you....When I spar with my buddies I do so as an inside boxer...I'm right handed so I typically throw jabs and crosses on offense but on defense I usually find myself doing parry blocks but I do clinch too much because I'm used to grappling in MMA.

that was one run of many...I run for 2 reasons...fat control and body tone...cardio is much more than running....conditioning for me is achieved through multiple mechanisms...but I've never ran a 4:50 mile nor have I tried...but trust me if you want to feel good about being a fast runner be my guess...but it fits your personality... always running from so it's no surprise...
And, fwiw, I'm 29 years old, 6', 190 lbs or so.

The people who harp on "cardio is more than running" are usually the people at the gym who love the stationary bike at level 1 for a half hour as their "cardio workout". Running is by far the best way and method of improving endurance, and someone with the endurance of a boxer/fighter wouldn't run a in 8 minute mile![]()
