Ahhhh.... Congressional Repugs feel unimportant.
Ahhhh.... Congressional Repugs feel unimportant.
That dog won't hunt.
"Where Are The Jobs?"
Interesting that the impeachment draft was written by someone who worked for Ronald Reagan...did Reagan get Congressional approval for the War in Granada, which actually did put 'boots on the ground'?
There was a formal request to intervention. American lives were at stake. The event became so popular that democrats would have suffered if they attempted impeachment over it. You simply don't kick heroes.
Obama's actions in Libya has no comparison. Let's not forget that operation Urgent Fury was quick and decisive. Not possible the way Obama is doing things.
Reagan Invasion Speech
I wonder if the impeachment attempt will gain traction. It seems to me it could be valid.
And Reagan was for freedom, not dictatorship, so whatever he wanted, he got.
All politicians should be impeached.
the smarmy bas s. High school student council wasn't enough for you. You had to take over a country and it just to prove your was big enough. you.
Regards,
MB
Well then.
....not to mention the fact that he was born in kenya
You didn't answer the question.
Can you support that contention?
Can you support the contentions of impeachment?
Not by Grenada, there wasn't!
The 'request' to which you refer, I assume, was by Eastern Caribbean Nations, most certainly excluding Cuba and Grenada for sure.
There was a 'request' for Obama's use of force by the Arab League and NATO.
Reagan notified congress about the same time he notified the American public.
This was, of course, after the 'boots on the ground' in Lebanon that worked out so poorly for the folks in the Marine barracks there some months later.
No, WC, you cannot get away with claiming that what Reagan did is materially different than what Obama has done with respect to the involvement of congress which is what the impeachment articles are said to be about.
I don't like what we are doing in Libya one bit, and I don't believe we should be involved at all, but trying to claim that this use of American military force is materially different from what has been done by virtually every other president, including Ronal Reagan, since the Korean War, is utter bull.
OK Evay...
I see you think the two situations are the same.
Gotcha...
the contention that Obama was born in Kenya? No, I cannot. Sort of the point, r.
god you're stuck on stupid.. scary thought to think that you have spawned..
I don't see the point.
Obama said that the President does not have the authority to initiate the military action that the President just ordered and the President is in violation of the legislation proposed by Obama.
That's the point.
except the president does have the authority you idiot
Please. Just stop your nonsense. It is OLD
Barry said the President didnot have the authority. You continue just to spew like a old bitter stupid uneducated man.
Barry " The President does not have power under the Cons ution to unilaterally authorize a military attack in a situation that does not involve stopping an actual or imminent threat to the nation."
