My brother is indeed arrogant....and I love it...

Kobe has indeed proven he can take MJ 1 on 1 now he has the opportunity to scat on MJ by beating the Bulls on their homecourt...

Jackson told the story of arranging a first meaningful meeting between Bryant and Michael Jordan in the 2000-01 season, which was filled with Kobe-driven friction after the first championship the previous season.

Jackson's goal was for the learned Jordan to get the eager Bryant "to understand he didn't have to stray outside the offense" and the Zen idea to "wait till the game presents itself."

Jackson said Bryant's first comment to Jordan, however, was: "I can take you one-on-one."

Bryant came around and built his own legend, one of the prides of Jackson's career.

And with the help of Jordan and Bryant, Jackson has won so many times that he actually said about his championships: "Almost every one of them is memorable."

Pippen saved Jordan from the Media hordes. Media tried the same stunt with Daddy. Kobe though headed 'em off at the pass as Pippen did for MJ.

"We" conveniently choose to remember only Jordan during the ring years. That ain't right.

    Scottie Pippen

But, until Pippen arrived MJ couldn't ring, and never rang without him.

Bryant had no problem ringin' sans Daddy, not only once, but, Back-2-Back, sans Daddy.

Jordan would have won 70 with Gasol, Odom, and Bynum...

"would have" don't count for .

If Pierce "would have" had a brain in his f'in head he'd a never backed off Artest last June and I'd be sittin' here with my in my hand.

Jordan didn't. That is the reality.

He couldn't do anything till Pippen saved him from a misery that was boundless. But, Pippen did save him. Got him straightened out, like Kobe straightened out Daddy, Odom, Gasol, Artest, et al.

The supporting cast Kobe has had during these last two runs>>Shaq. It's pretty foolish to think otherwise.

Yep, no reason to penalize Jordan because he had 1 HOF teammate as a constant, when Kobe just swapped one (Shaq) for the other (Gasol), while also picking up better role players in Bynum, Odom and Artest...

Exactly. He woke up though, ran Buss to ground, and made him come across with the goods.

    It's not a f'in' game, Isit. It's not personal. It's just business.

    I don't do HOF. It's my religion. It's political, it's like a dice game, or, a game with a spinner....total caca.

Iverson said the same thing...young players coming in and saying they could beat an older MJ 1v1 doesn't mean a damn thing.

Kobe is the constant in his own ringing.

Pippen is the constant in MJ's ringing.

What does that have to do with anything?
