and when MJ faced a great wing defender in the finals ( Gary Payton) he shot 26% in the final game similar to Kobe's 25% against Boston...

    come again....
The Bulls already took an unsurmountable 3:0 lead early in the series. There will be a bad game for every player, even the best ones. However, very uncharacteristic for all time greats, Kobe sometimes sucks during a complete series.

Hasn't rung without Fisher has he?

Wasn't it Fisher saving Kobe's bacon in the 2009 Finals when Kobe couldn't throw it in the ocean for the 2nd straight game and going 0-for-everything down the stretch in Game 4? Wasn't it Fisher once again coming to the rescue in the 4th when Kobe was fizzling against the Celtics last year in the Finals in Game 3 and Game 7? Whenever Kobe is drowning it's Fisher who throws him that life preserver

    & that's jake with me.

It was also Fisher who in Game 7 last June slapped Kobe upside the head to get him to settle the down and play the game in real time.

My brother is indeed arrogant....and I love it...

Kobe has indeed proven he can take MJ 1 on 1 now he has the opportunity to scat on MJ by beating the Bulls on their homecourt...

Kobe's first words to Tim in the playoffs were "why did you skunk me?"

Has any other "superstar" been skunked back to back in the playoffs before like Kobe has?

Kobes cast is alot better than MJ's without Pippen since you go there! Pau Gasol is one of the best big men in the game, an all star! MJ without Pippen had? Stop it. Put up those years without a big man for KOBE! He won .

Kobe rang without Daddy. Kobe rang without Gasol.
I'll put it another way. When Kobe rang without Shaq, he had Gasol. When Kobe rang without Gasol, he had Shaq. There was never a year that Kobe won the NBA Championship without the help of either Shaq or Gasol. FACT.

Kobe rang without Daddy. Kobe rang without Gasol.

    MJ never rang without Pippen.

You say that like it matters. It's still:

    Jordan: 6

    Kobe: 5

And it will stay that way forever.

Does lakerfan really seriously feel like Kobe is better than MJ? Like legitimately?

Jordan always lead his team to the playoffs, even with ty players around him. Can't say the same for Kobe.

Kobe was skunked by Tim first and that is all that matters. It was the first time Kobe met Tim when it was money time and Tim laid down the law with a skunker. Subsequently, it rattled Kobe so much, that he got skunked the very next year in the playoffs and nothing changes that.

    Yup.

, LeBron led a team of scrubs to to the NBA Finals in 2007. Kobe couldn't lead a team of scrubs to a bowling alley.

Recognizing Phil Jackson is completely warranted IMO... He was able to ring with MJ, Shaq and Gasol as his stars... All fairly dominant players, but with very different characteristics...
