    1. Duncan would not have played with Kobe.

    2. Kobe would not have stayed with a team that was struggling enough to get a 1st overall pick.

If Kobe cannot win with Shaq, Malone, Payton and an assortment of role players, he's not the other side of the dynasty coin.

4 HOFers cannot beat the Pistons, a team the Spurs beat the following year, that says enough.

I totally disagree. Duncan is one of the those self righteous mother ers that would have let all of Kobe's pussy smashing affect his play, much like Rodman's did Robinson's. KG don't give a , and he also was never a franchise player. Look how easy he made the transition to being the third wheel on Boston.

Not to mention, Duncan is already broke down and doesn't have longevity. Imagine if Duncan had someone like Kobe pushing him, he'd already be retired. KG would have been able to withstand the constant pressure Kobe puts on his teammates. Kool, you my brotha, and I know you mean well with this thread, but you must be out of your ing mind if you think Kobe would have put up with Duncan's "on this year, off next year at ude." I just don't see it...imho.
Wow, you just expressed your complete lack of knowledge of basketball, but it's not like you don't do that with every post. Garnett is one of the best big men to play the game, but he doesn't hold a candle to Duncan. Duncan didn't have to be surrounded by all stars like Pierce, & Allen to win championships. He won with different rosters, that may or may not have been better than the last championship roster.

If you don't think Kobe would be stoked to play along TD, you're ing high off of opium. TD plays unselfish, fundamental basketball. You should stick to the Naruto hentai forums, where you reign supreme, because here, nobody respects you, or takes you seriously. You're a joke.

nothing wrong with the big homie's opinion...I think KG in SA wins those les as well....In fact KG has proven that he's much more duruable than TD...so a case can easily be made for KG...KG and Kobe today are still winning les...whereas Kobe and Duncan would not be...My point was that Kobe "could" have won more in his "prime" with Duncan vs KG...but it could go either way in their primes...

If KG was Laker instead of Shaq, Duncan would be ringless. Think about it, KG truly has a hate for Duncan that was simmering from day one. This is why he slapped him upside his ing head for no reason at all. Most of you tend to think Kobe likes Duncan, but there is a reason Kobe has played his best ball against San Antonio. And whenever he gets the chance to grab his nuts in Duncan's house, he does it.

You're not selling this "Duncan is the greatest PF of all time" to me. I got KG, Chuck and Malone ahead of him. Duncan the bed in Europe for the country. No gold medals for that stiff. No back to backs, even though he always had a contender team. , Duncan has never even made it back to the finals to try and defend his le. I'm not letting him off the hood for such great shortcomings.
    Wow...you truly are a ing re .

Kobe to Shaq during the '03 playoffs after Duncan stuffs one of Shaqs monkey slams... "Slam his ass through the rim."

I think Malone is the greatest PF in History and if you slide Hakeem in the PF spot then it's Hakeem...but you make some good points...I'm not making a case for Timmy being the greatest nothing...however he is the greatest Spur....that's it....KG is my guy...I love his energy, tenacity, and toughness...Duncan is an Olympic failure but I wouldn't look to much into the on court comments cuz Kobe be in the heat of battles he is a known talker...

If I had to guess Kobe would take KG as his running mate because they both came out of high school (KG 1 yr earlier) and KG gave Kobe good advice...they have a much closer relationship than Kobe and TD...so maybe I was wrong about how they would've played together...

Right now KG has his Boston swag but you if you watch closely when they play you can still see he respects Kobe on the court...

Duncan owned Shaq in that series. It was at that point that I lost what little respect I had for him. Honestly, Duncan had a better career than Shaq if you ask me.
Holy ...I can't believe you actually said that...the world must be coming to an end.

I've never understood the KG hate from this board. The guy was a beast for most of his career, and never tore down his teammates like Shaq did. Sure, he punched a in the eye in practice, and made Big Baby cry during a time out, but that's what I respect about the guy. He's willing to put his ass on the line for the franchise.
Funny thing is, I actually like KG...weird, huh?

If it wasnt for his back injury, and always being a one-man team...Tmac wouldve ted all over Kobe. Put Kobe on those Orlando teams and theyre lottery bound every single year just like the post-Shaq pre-Gasol years. Kobe is arguably the most overrated player of all-time.

Look, missy, I'm not trying to take anything away from Duncan. I'm only trying to put things into perspective. KG was the better all around player, which is why he's still effective in his late years, whereas Duncan looks done! Duncan has had the better career by far, but I give the nod to KG on the skills set.

Whatever helps ya sleep at night, bud.

    Manu 9.4 pts 2.9 asst 38.6%FG
    Robinson 7.8 pts 6.6 reb 54.2%FG

    Duncan 24.7 pts 15.4 rebs 5.3 asst 52.9%FG
