After the way they massacred the Spurs last time I'd like to see the favor returned, but I'm guessing the starters are going to see limited minutes.
Last I checked the 'must-win' label was thrown around by Lakerboi, not Spursfan... you're just scared from 0 & 6...

The off chance of both the Spurs and Bulls making it to the finals isn't enough to get excited about. The Spurs purposely bombed the last game against Dallas last year even though they had an opportunity to much up in seeding. Why would they go balls out this year when home court is already locked up?
If you had been without kobe, gasol or bynum during 0 & 5 and we had been full strength during 0 & 6 you'd cling. You have no room.

I think Pop will go for the win. He wants the players to be sharp and in playoff form going into the first round. At this point there's no reason to sit guys out because you're worried about injuries. Pop has spent the entire season managing minutes and handling the players with kid gloves. It's time for them to get in shape for big playoff minutes.

Look, when you have fans that even after winning rings, show their assess after the only skunker that matters and 0-10, you know the drill. Good, hard practice and nothing more.

Based on previous years, I believe Pop will not do anything out of the ordinary for this game. He will play the entire team as any other regular game - if the Spurs are getting blown out mid 3rd Q he will just bench the starters and play the rest of the game with subs.
By doing this he will keep to what he's always done in similar situations, that is giving more time to the subs and saving the starters from unnecessary effort.
However, if the Spurs are close or up in the 4th Q he will attempt to win the game as any other game.
Lakers will try to send "a message" (what a stupid word), etc.
I know this is just plain boring but I'm pretty sure this is what we are going to see tonight.
If I were Pop, I'd build up a double digit lead mid-way through the 2nd, and then sit my starters the remainder of the game.
