if they have to face either the Lakers or the Hornets in the playoffs (more so the Lakers of course since the Hornets best player is injured). both teams have beaten the ever living out of the Spurs twice this season including a couple of humiliating beat downs on their own home floor in San Antonio. Spurs fans will disregard these beat downs with excuses like "it was a back to back game (even though both teams played then night before)" or "we are resting for the playoffs" ... but sons the ball don't lie. I think it is crystal clear right now that the overall best team in the West is the Lakers, but that doesn't guarantee them anything.
