    From Huffington Post:

In the middle of the third quarter of the Los Angeles Lakers' 102-93 victory over the San Antonio Spurs on Tuesday night, Kobe Bryant received a technical foul for continuing to argue with the referee.

As Bryant made his way to the bench, he was visibly upset and shouted a phobic slur at referee Bennie Adams.

TNT cameras caught the five-time NBA champion clearly calling Adams a "f--king f--got."

Steve Kerr noticed and said that TNT "might want to take the camera off him right now, for the children watching."

On Monday, the NBA rescinded Bryant's 15th technical foul of the season.

Yep saw it, not the first time not the last. That's why I don't like the guy. Great ball player but just a sorry excuse for a man. Can't wait for them to take the cameras off of him for good.

I've actually stopped saying that word. It's okay to call people out when they do use it. Of course this is the internet and people are safe behind their computers so they will talk to me now and probably use that word. That's just how it is.

I'm guessing Kobe wasn't insinuating that the referee takes it in the keister. Right or wrong, in his mind, it was no different than saying " ing asshole".

    Oversensitive pussies.

By the way, Steve Kerr and his "for the children" comment. I'm sure he lets his kids watch all the on the news but would go ape over a slip during a halftime show.

We're all hypocrites in our own way. Pot and kettle, peeps.

Nobody is oversensitive, using the word " got" is the same as using the word "######" or " " it's a word used to keep a whole lot of people down because of what they are. Pretty ignorant stuff.

Except that it was different. 1) for the slur itself which is offensive to s and more importantly, that 2) it was broadcast to millions of people including children, some which may look up to him.

By the way, Steve Kerr and his "for the children" comment. I'm sure he lets his kids watch all the on the news but would go ape over a slip during a halftime show.
I doubt you have a ing clue what Steve Kerr let's his kids watch.

lol at the gots defending Bean Bryant.

The difference is we don't say like this in front of cameras that carry your image and voice to millions of children that look up to you. Not to mention the tens of millions of sexual laker fans getting offended.

Is it possible he didn't say "f**king got", just "five rings, got!". Cuz that'd be cool if a Spurstalk meme went Hollywood like that.

Kobe Bryant's outburst under review by NBA
    John Hartung

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Video of an apparent outburst from Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant is under review by the NBA on Wednesday.

Frustrations were already high for Bryant and the Lakers on Tuesday night. They were riding a five-game losing streak and struggling against a San Antonio Spurs team that sat their three best players for a game the leakers needed to win to help their playoff positioning.

After being whistled for an offensive foul and then a technical foul during the third quarter, Bryant went to the bench and was visibly upset with referee Bennie Adams. The camera then caught Bryant directing what appeared to be a gay slur toward Adams.

The Lakers went on to win the game 102-93.

Bryant talked to the media after the win, but he was not asked about using the slur.

"We haven't seen the video, so it would be inappropriate for us to comment on it," the Lakers organization said in a statement.

The Human Rights Campaign pressed Bryant and the Lakers to address the issue immediately.

"What a disgrace for Kobe Bryant to use such horribly offensive and distasteful language, especially when millions of people are watching," the organization said in a statement.

The Lakers are in Sacramento for Wednesday night's regular season finale against the Kings.

The NBA is reviewing the tape from the game. A fine appears likely, and there's a possibility of a suspension for Wednesday night's game.

The league should issue its response later on in the day.

People shouldn't have to wonder if they can let their kid watch a basketball game on TV.
