    Attempting to dodge a certain matchup is a straight up Clippers-move. Wouldn't surprise me in the least to see a franchise like the Dallas Mavericks stoop that level.

    I actually wouldn't be at all surprised to see a repeat of the first game for the Heat in CLE this year. Crowd's amped, booing the Lakers and (primarily) Kobe with all they've got in 'em, only to keep it close for about a quarter before LA stomps a mudhole in their collective asses...and all the hype and emotion of the day fades about as quickly as it came on.

    Not saying they're not talented in the grand scheme, but when put up against LA's starting 5 (w/ or w/o Bynum), they can't stack up.

    And Cousins is about as immature and volatile a big as they come. He makes some of Wafer's and Beasely's antics look tame by comparison.

    Still, I would love nothing more than for LA to get embarrassed tonight...

    No. They're too focused & disciplined VS. us to let Artest lure 'em into such a situation.

    Just have to asshole it tonite and try to beat 'em on talent. Novel approach, but, they ain't gonna go quietly into the night.
