damn hope it's not early Sunday. We usually suck at those times
FYI - asked the season ticket office if they knew anything... They said Saturday evening or Sunday afternoon. With the Eastern schedule set - Sat evening likely means 8:30pm start. Sunday afternoon I'd assume would be a noon start... no chance in they're putting us on at 2:30pm. That's gotta be reserved for LA, I'd think.
I'd assume a Sat night game for SA - especially if OKC/Denver happens - I'd think ABC would want that at noon on Sunday if they have the noon game and not ESPN (assuming that Sunday at 8:30 is ruled out).
Wife made plans for Sunday - forgot it was playoff time - told her she better cross her fingers for a Saturday game![]()

I work all day sat, I hope its Sunday. I normally wouldnt care as I can just DVR it, but now way I'm making it through a day during the playoffs without finding out who wins.
Im hoping its Sunday early I want to enjoy fiesta Saturday night
If it's early Sunday you can't enjoy Fiesta too much![]()
I am all packed and ready to go. I have tickets to games 1 and 2 and will be driving home to Texas from Minnesota. If it's a Saterday game we will leave on Tomorow afternoon. I am so excited. I havn't been to a spurs playoff game since '05 against the Pistons in the finals.
I doubt we would be early Sunday, as it's not really a huge matchup. I'm thinking Sat night or Sunday night, regardless of what the ticket office says.
u really think the nba would put the spurs on a sunday?
It had BETTER be a Sunday game, my son is scheduled for a cir cision Saturday at 8:30 pm, and he will be 1 oz. heavier come Sunday if in fact they play Saturday night..
Not sure - just what they told me the options they were told are. I'd guess (and only a guess) that Dallas in penciled in for Sunday night.
In the last 10 years the Spurs have started the playoffs on a Sunday 3 times: both times they played Denver, and last year in Dallas. I'd bet on the Saturday time with Memphis and New Orleans as the only possible opponents.
Eastern Conference schedule:
Saturday
8 Indiana Pacers at 1 Chicago Bulls, 1:00 p.m. EST
7 Philadelphia 76ers at 2 Miami Heat 3:30 p.m. EST
5 Atlanta Hawks at 4 Orlando Magic 7:00 p.m. EST
Sunday
6 New York Knicks at 3 Boston Celtics 7:00 p.m. EST
looks like its a sunday game coz there are already 3 EC playoff games on saturday......
I just hope it's an evening game, but it probably won't be.
@Kap10Jack
Correction: #Spurs' 2011 Drive for Five begins Sat, Apr 16. Game 2 is Mon., Apr 18. The League wasn't gonna give SA their marquee Sun start.
yeah! I agree 100% there. I hope to GOD thats not it.We lost all of those game ones too right? with Sundays man![]()

Spurs (possibly) get Manu-related break. Memphis series starts Sunday and Wed in SA. Moves to MEM on April 23, 25.
Is the game Saturday or Sunday? Why are people putting different things out there. in a
I would trust the Express-News reporter before any other report but who knows
Damn. Now someone reported a Noon start Sunday. that sucks, i hate noon games.
That's awesome. Spurs will take their home games without Manu. Gives him a while to heal up.
