Lakers are only up by 8 vs Sacramento at halftime so it is a lil to early to say they have an easier road...Dallas could wind up playing NO.....Lakers can wind up playing Portland if they lose....
Lakers will win-they have the #2 seed to play for.......

Mavs could easily knock of the Lakers, they're the biggest sleeper team this playoffs. They're only a sleeper because no one really thinks they're a threat because of their history -- but they're much, much better this year.

Reality is, HCA or not, whatever team you play, in a 7 game series the best team always prevails. Spurs will win this if they put their minds to it. They are still the most talented, deepest team in the league. And they're healthier than almost anyone. Manu will be fine.

We can beat the Thunder, Nuggets and Grizzlies. We have struggled in the past against Dallas.

The worst part is that the big3 didn't play yesterday because Pop is afraid of the Lakers. To avoid injuries was not the reason.

So i guess Pop's hopes to win the championship are on Hornets and Mavs
Pop is so afraid of the Lakers, if the Spurs made it that far, the series is already over. It made no sense to not play the Lakers but then play against the Suns. I'm sure the Spurs players pick up on his fear.

The Lakers now get to roll over the Hornets instead of sweat bullets against the Blazers.

Yep, that was a cowardly move to sit those guys out. His backup players have more heart than he does.

The Lakeshow were on a 5 game losing streak, and played like to boot... you have to kick them while they're down... Pop outsmarting himself again...

Eh doesn't really matter Lakers are either gonna turn it on and beat who ever they face until they play contenders or not and be vulnerable vs who ever they face.

Basketball is a game of confidence... not just skill... when you give away wins to teams that are desperately looking for one, you're doing them a favor...

Of course. The Lakers run of luck, unprecedented in the history of North American professional sports, continues. Bynum, who's surgically repaired knee looked like it snapped it two, is magically (and predictably) fine, Ginobili is predictably injured and the Lakers got as easy a path as possible. So as usual, everything worked out.
