Last year Marion was doing next to nothing when the playoffs started due to Caron Butler's emergence and his play during the regular season, so while he sucked in the playoffs last year his team wasn't expecting much from him.
This year he's Dallas's 3rd option and has a major role going into the playoffs. It will be hard for Dallas to win with Marion contributing anything, but we know how Shawn using it is when it comes to April and May.
