    Predictions anyone? I think that the Flyers or Penguins will make it out of the East, and probably the Red Wings from the West.

    I'm personally rooting for Boston vs San Jose.

    Can't believe how well the Penguins have done without Malkin and Crosby...Bylsma should be COY.

    That being said I like the Flyers out of the East and Detroit out of the West.


    How about my Florida Panthers? 10 straight years of no playoffs...must be an NHL record for futility

    Since the Panthers are out I'll be rooting for the Sabres though...but they'll be one-and-done most likely.

    Regarding the Panthers, I can't believe they just fired an excellent coach (who, 2 days after his firing, has joined Team Canada as an assistant coach).

    Nothing the Panthers do surprises me anymore. They are hopeless, just like my NFL team...no future, no light at the end of the tunnel. Just endless darkness on the horizon.

    - Well yeah; but Auld is a nice guy

    - Sucks for Savard, one of the few B's that I really like; fantastic skills

    - Kaberle is a fantastic puck moving D-man; he used to kill us when he was with Toronto; he shoud be comfy vs the Habs.
