I think a lot of progress has been made in this thread. Together we--Laker and Spur fan-- have fostered a relationship of compassion and respect for one another. This is a momentous occasion, and the 15th of April should be forever remembered on ST.
Soon enough, we'll see which team gets to send LeBron home ringless again.

Im with DD on this one I am pulling for the spurs for the reasons listed above and for selfish reasons as well. SA is only about 4 hours away from Dallas I can attend a WCF game but I guess if OKC wins it's a little but closer.I come in peace.
In 11 of the last 12 NBA seasons the Lakers or Spurs have represented the West, winning a combined 9 championships. Once again we are atop the WC standings and likely to represent again.
I think that is truly an amazing stat, and would love nothing more than to beat our favorite WC rivals in the WCF this year. Good luck the first 2 rounds, I'll be pulling for ya'll

Kobe has 5, duncan has 4 and a battle for Kobe to push ahead or Duncan to tie could be epic.
