No Manu?
Memphis in 7
Right...as in the vid I posted above...I think Hogan's knee was legit torn up due to the Figure 4 on the ring post
Edit: Actually I lie...I read somewhere that it was legit, but read in some other spots that it was simply a work so he could get an old knee injury taken care of
Anybody remember when Sid Justice (I think that is who it was) jumped off the top rope and broke his ankle? It was just hanging there. Absolutely gross.
Speaking of...can we get a damn MRI report already?
Gino doubtful for Game 1...doesn't sound like the injury was as bad as it could have been. Maybe AI can loan him an arm-sleeve
No pile driver, but I put him in the DDT once when he tried to take me down Goldberg style. He wound up with a pretty good headache.
Oh...and Spurs in 5. Spurs win a close one on Sunday but Manu is back for game 2 and it's business as usual after that.
Koolaid man.
Memphis is a really good rebounding team, which has been a problem for the Spurs. Same for teams with a balanced front line and two legit bigs, and Memphis possesses that. Memphis does a really good job at forcing turnovers namely because they have a wealthy of above average to great wing defenders.
They also play very smart and disciplined basketball. They run their offense in a boring, repe ive fashion, but because of that, they execute.
OJ Mayo is an x-factor, but he has struggled all year. But maybe a playoff game will get his blood flowing. He has talent. They are also very physical. Every team that plays them knows they have been in a fight.
It will be interesting to see how they react to their first playoff together.
Timmy and Dyess will have to be aggressive. Getting Zach Randolph in foul trouble will be key
Lakers vs. HOrnet. No West = ***
It was Sid Vicious...nastiest thing I've ever seen in pro wrestling.
WARNING: Not for the faint hearted. Made me cringe all over again.![]()

Spurs in 5
Coach Gregg Popovich announced at his pre-game press conference that Manu Ginobili (elbow) will not play in Sunday's Game 1.
Although there were some rumblings that Manu might try and give it a go, the Spurs likely erred on the side of caution with this decision. He's reportedly shown pretty good improvement, so don't be surprised if this is the only game of the series that he sits out.
^ Thank Christ.
