they both are, but since Wade shares the spotlight, more people are going to pick Rose because the ball is in his hands more.

IMHO Wade is still much better than Rose. Wade plays great on both ends of the court...
Wade, and I'm not bias here. Wade is much more explosive and much, much more fluid offensively. Some of the most ridiculous and best dunks for the past 2 years were courtesy of Wade (Wade over Varejao, Spin move on the baseline + Two handed dunk on Perkins). Wade can also afford to be a little bit more y because he has that championship swagger in him.
Oh and Wade's defensive play (especially blocks) are a thing of beauty. His game really is the closest thing to a prime Jordan IMO.

They made it well known they wanted Rose in 2008, and yeah I still think they woulda gone after those two. Clearing out all that cap space was a multiyear project Riley started before the 08 draft.
A trio of Lebron, Wade and Rose would never work but everything turned out better in hindsight I believe. Miami got the best player of the decade via FA while still retaining thee second best and Rose got his cute little MVP award.
They could have had Rose, Wade, Lebron and Bosh tbh.
True^ I take my statement back. I think Lebron, Wade and Rose could work, but Rose would need to take a HUGE sacrifice in order for it to work. He's a good kid so I can see him accepting a third or fourth option role.
Yeah it could have issues given they all need the ball, but my good if they made it work. Rose with his athleticism and size also seems like someone who would be a dangerous off ball slasher if he had a teammate who was a threat with the ball.
Rose isnt the type of player that would want to play with a Lebron or Wade type. All Chicago needs is a legit SG & they'll be battling Miami for the next 4-5 years for best record in the East. Rose is just gonna keep getting better & better. Boozer has to man up though if they wanna even sniff the Finals this season. They expect Rose to do way too much. He's only like 22 but they'll burn him out if they expect him to drop 30-35 pts every game
I think they need a legit SG + an upgrade at PF. I don't ever see Boozer being a major piece on a championship.
I'd seriously want to see D'Antoni run that team just for the pure joy of watching Lebron, Wade and Rose run the floor in transition lol.

Derrick Rose is more entertaining to watch for sure. I'd say they are both as good as eachother (although I think Rose may be the best player in the NBA), it's too bad Rose is handicapped with Boozer as his 2nd best player. Sort of reminds me when Lebron was playing in Cleveland, great regular season team but won't be able to win a championship because they rely too heavily on 1 guy to do it all.
I can't think of a time where the league has had so many superstars at one time who could be considered the best player

Rose is probably the most entertaining player in the league to watch... acrobatic finishes around the rim and destroying ankles all game long.
As players... Wade is basically a bigger version of Rose .. the first guy Rose reminded me of when he came into the league was Wade.
Anhyway if i was to pick one guy its still Wade, similar overall impact but Wade shoots close to 50% for most of his career while Rose is still really inefficient at around 44-45%. Thats really the only difference between the two
