Game 1 of the season- I posted in the game thread that he was the best shooter the Spurs have had in the past decade. The guy hasn't let me down yet and I don't think he will.
Even when he is cold he hustles and does the in between work and still manages to be of service. He doesn't seem affected by the big stage. He should farewell. If two other rotation players on the spurs had half his heart we'd be scary.

What I like about Neal is that if you run him off the 3pt line, he can step in and hit a mid-range jumper or drive to the basket and hit his little floater. What's surprising is that his free throw is not that good considering how good a shooter he is. And boy, can he put up points in a hurry (especially when it seems like everyone's cold).

I like that nick better than any I've seen so far. Gary the Truth Neal. From now on, when he hits a three I'm just going to say "True, true." and nod
I like that better than "Neal With it." I shall be starting this along with you. And the trend begins....

Next to the big 3 being relatively healthy and rested, Neal has been the story this year. Between him and RJ, I think Neal's more capable and likely to bust loose with few 20+ games in the playoffs.

As far as dealing with the pressure, Neal did come through in the summer league when he had to - hitting an absurd number of 3s. That for him was the equivalent of do or die in the NBA. Here's hoping he continues in the playoffs.

Barring something really stupid, he should have a home in the NBA for a few years.

His performance against the Lakers last week was as good a sign as any how he'll do in the playoffs.

RMJ could only shoot. Neal can drive, shoot, pull up, and play better D.

This guy has no fear. In the starter's absence , even though the Spurs lost to LA, he never backed down. Even when he is cold, he never backs down. Neal is a nice guy and humble in interviews but he's got ice for blood and fears nothing. If not for Manu's shadow I'm convinced Neal could have had big time stats this year. He's one of the best finds of the Spurs FO and will be key for the playoffs.

Gary IS the truth and is one of the reasons we have a good shot at winning it all.

In his interviews, is it just me, or does he have Tony Parker's voice without the accent?

He was 6/13 (2/4) for 16 points in 26 minutes with Kobe covering him.
