Rebound. If the Spurs win the rebounding battle, I wager they win the game. It has to be top priority.

I fear we will have to win games in this series without edging the Grizzlies in the rebounding department. Turnovers are the other crucial factor ...

That really surprises me. I think Manu was overruled

Hope the team is awake. Duncan has been known to still be sleeping with these early games.

I agree. They have to keep it close. If they win the battle (which they are more than capable of if guys focus), they will be fine.

Turnovers are huge in every series, but especially this one when you have a team that relies heavily on creating them.

With no Manu, lets hope TP and Hill really take care of the ball and make good decisions.

No Manu and this early start time do not bode well for the Spurs. All other home teams from last nights games did not look impressive (especially in the beginning) - the crowd has to give its best to wake the team up ...

Well, if no Manu and the fact that the other teams struggled yesterday isn't a wake up call, then you should be very worred.

Other than the obvious, which would be a win, the most important factor and potentially the most encouraging, would be if Tim Duncan can play star level basketball..even if the Spurs lose, it would be a nice silver lining(even though I'm not a fan of moral victories, at all)..

I am worried because teams like Philadelphia and Indiana with less playoff experience showed yesterday that they can give the better seeded teams a tough fight. Grizzlies will be no exception. Indiana George needs to step up ...

    Still thirty minutes ...

The thing that concerns me with Manu's injury is that it has to be serious. You almost NEVER see stars miss playoff games with injuries. I mean guys play with broken bones seemingly. If he is missing time, it has to be somewhat serious.

    Silverlining-

If we beat the Grizz without Ginobili, we should crush all hope within them. They'll fold up like a cheap tent. Four maybe Five games if we win today.

What is this BS about rebounding? If we rebound we win? Get real. If the 3's start falling we win. Rebounding? GTFO of here with that . Defense? Yeah right. It's the mutherf*cking 3's that matter.
