mavs = aggressors, thus resulting in more trips to the line. Dirk just kept driving and driving. He was eventually going to start getting calls. Terry even seemed focused on driving, getting to the line several times.

The Blazers "outscored" the Mavs because the Mavs let them score and didnt foul. The Blazers didnt let the Mavs score inside and fouled all the time instead of allowing the points. Blazers got points in the paint, Mavs got FT for doing the same thing, they were almost the same aggressive than the Blazers.
And still they all cry (even the coach) "but we were the aggressive team, look at all the points in the paint!!! But they got all the FTA! Mimimimi"

It's not like the Mavs never went inside. The Blazers just fouled them every time they did and Dallas scored from the line instead of in the paint.
No big deal. Some bad calls but they'll get a bunch of calls in Portland. The Blazers look like the better team though. Kidd went ape & they barely got a W. The Blazers probably win that if Brandon Roy wasnt in during crunch time. He's a non factor, its pretty sad to watch actually.
Dirk had a poor game overall up until 6 minutes left in the 4th, along with the Blazers getting 7 alley-oops (basically 14 free points), and the Mavs won.

Somehow the video missed out on the fouls on Dirk in Quarter 1-3. He got hacked everytime he went to the basket but called for 3 charges, hmmm...

I don't know why you're surprised at the officiating, it's always been like that when teams play Dallas. Dirk is the most protected player in the NBA, any time the refs allow someone to play physical against him he gets shut down. I can't think of a single time when the Mavs came back from a deficit and it wasn't due to FT's. The same thing happened to the Spurs in game 1 last year but of course the Spurs came back and beat them down like the es they are.
