duncan (supposed to be in caps)
Pretty much. If suddenly he doesnt assign Dan C to Mavs games or Joe C to Spurs games, it looks like he is admitting that he has been ing with the league, and looks every bit as bad, if not worse than it would be for him to keep assigning them to do their games.

Anyone who seriously uses anything that Tim Donaghy says as an argument is an automatic fail.
Its not 1-17, its 2-16
WOOHOOOO WE HAVE A CHANCE
Remember when Donaghy had to prove these allegations and he the bed?
You too, Sef?
I thought better of ya.
I think its hard to completely dismiss everything he says. I'm sure there is some stuff that is quite exaggerated and bullcrap on his part, while there is plenty of truth to some that he says/wrote as well. Just too much coincedence in some aspects.
I don't think taking precaution would mean he was admitting that everything was true, though I guess some people might spin it that way.
If Mav fans would actually look at that list of games that Danny C officiated, they'd realize a lot of them were blowouts in which we were thoroughly outplayed
I agree completely.
It wouldn't neccesarily mean that, but if he had to choose between some people thinking hes giving up and admitting defeat, or by still scheduling those refs just to scoff peoples accusations that he is rigging games, he would do and is doing the latter.
o spencer!
Quit your whining...... Have faith in our boys and stop
ing about refs
You're such a rejectAll of society laughs at gots such
as yourself![]()
Eight games were decided by 5 points or less, and five of those were decided by three points or less. Seven games were decided by 10+.
I'm not trying to make any pre-game excuses, if the Mavs lose today it will most likely have more to do with their terrible guard play than the refs. I just hate how we keep drawing this .
Mavs will lose this series and Crawford will not let us win this game.![]()
Now you're insulted. Win or lose you're covered.![]()
G has no right to comment in threads pertaining to officiating. The Lakers have benefitted from Stern's minions more than any other club in league history.
bumpFat redneck gets owned again.
Wrong. If anything that post concedes the point that Crawford's role in those Mavericks losses is diminished and greatly exaggerated by Mavfan.
I say the mavs lose a close one. I think this series is going 7.
Cuban is a smart m'efer ...by pointing out that Mavs record with Crawford reffing. Now they will be EXTRA nice to the Mavs ...
Now the Blazers will get screwed again tonight ... NBA basketball where AMAZING happens ...
again? You're implying they've been screwed so far, which is false.

The Mavericks are 4-14 AGAINST THE SPREAD in playoff games refereed by Crawford since 2001 compared to 47-41-1 vs. the spread in all other playoff games in that span (according to information from Covers.com).
The reason this is important is that the spread is essentially one of the best ways to look at what a team is expected to do in a certain game. Historically, the spread has been shown to be an accurate predictor of what happens in a game – that is, teams are generally .500 against the spread over large samples of games. Therefore, the fact that the Mavericks seem to underperform compared to expectations (as proxied by the spread) in games reffed by Crawford is possibly more compelling evidence than the 2-16 overall record.
