At least this one. I don't do silver lining, silk purse into sow's ear malarkey.
It's my religion.
It was an honest question actually, simple even, but I guess sometimes those are the ones that are the scariest.
Yeah Duncan is old in basketball terms, but he's a pretty smart player, which is why even though his contributions are limited, he's still making the right plays most of the time. Kobe's the same way, his smarts will get him far, but he's still immature, and to be honest if you think about it, people who don't mature when their 32 or 33 are probably never going to mature or have a hard time doing it.
If your a team player when your young, it's easier to be a team player till your older. If your selfish when your 30+, your most likely to be selfish till your 40+.
Which is why Shaq if you think about it, is MUCH MUCH more mature than Kobe, from a basketball point of view. Heck even KG, Paul Pierce and Ray Allen are the same, because they are willing to take a back seat, and let the game come to them.
At least this one. I don't do silver lining, silk purse into sow's ear malarkey.
It's my religion.
Yup...I feel ya, bro...a loss is a loss...gotta win the next one.![]()
I think dropping about 200 posts a day is your real religion.
Kobe: 5
Daddy: 4
& Bryant left messrs KG, Pierce and Allen where he found 'em.
I musta done something right else you wouldn't a PM'ed me begging for me to come down and save you from DUNCAN.
ha!
Tamps, gettin' his conflicted on.
ha!
When was MJ better than Magic? Or when was Magic better than Bird? How Kobe had better career than Shaq so far? Or Duncan? Ridiculous.
No conflict at all. I agree with calling a loss a loss. That doesn't change the fact that you drop a metric ton of ty posts every day. Are you getting paid by the post or something?![]()
I go by numbers:::
Kobe: 5
Duncan: 4
Daddy: 4
Bird: 3
MJ: 6
We went by numbers when Kobe had: 3. Motherf'ers, we're goin' by numbers ever more.
Yeah, but I was talking about maturity. In that sense, kobe has a ways to go, don't you agree.
Who gives a ? It's a Board. One is supposed to post. Where is the limit rule?
Are you one of those Tea Party s?
Serious question.
Are you a Kobe fan or a Laker fan?
i'm actually curious. You seem to care more about individuality than the team itself.
Yeah, he's got the maturity of a 5 year old.
And I know it. And he don't care. He's hunting Jordan. And if he has to change uniforms to climb over him...
- "No problem."
- "Ace" - "Stand by Me"
In that sense I'm right I guess, and you agreed.
But the thing is cully, your obviously a numbers guy a stat guy, with all your duncan 4 kobe 5 shtick. So I know you'll appreciate that even if KObe get's 10 to MJ's 6, nobody will feel KObe is better than MJ, that's just human nature. It's hard to convince people to change their basketball Gods, much less their religion.
Both.
I like the fact that Bryant rang twice to trump Daddy and then dropped the hammer at the news conference last June 17th. I love the fact that he rang and cut Media off at the pass after Colorado. They were gonna high tech lynch him outta Colorado by now if he hadn't rung. And you know what else? Bryant knew it.
And I'd love to get face-to-face with that glorious bas long enough to tell him I know that he knew and he ed 'em.
I love the fact that he's hunting Jordan. That he realizes that 7 is better than 6 and that is all he can do. Let "them" discuss it. He'll have the number. I love the fact that that is enough for Bryant.
Yeah, I'm a Bryant fan.
I address your pont in my prior post. Lodged it before I read the above. All Bryant can do is get to 7. He's intelligent enough & pathological enough to find true contentment with the raw total 7-6. He can enter his house justified at 7-6.
The organizations win championships, they later deliver the rings to the players on the playoffs roster.
Kobe wasn't the Lakers best player for the three-peat, neither was Shaq the best player of the Heat in 2006.
Duncan was the Spurs best player for the 4 Spurs championships. This year that probably won't be the case though.
Hmmm, It can be misconstrued then that you admire men who can overcome adversity regardless of how ty their luck has been. Is this because of something that happened to someone you knew or yourself?
Hey that's good that your admire him, I mean even the Jordan apologist don't mention his obvious flaw as a person when defending Jordan, so your just being a Kobe apologist which is cool really. Your his fan so you gotta defend him no matter what. All your posts makes more sense now to be honest.
Still... I'm curious do you enjoy toying with people obviously not your intellectual equal?
It was 4-3 raw advantage Duncan....By God we're goin' forth in the same manner:::
Kobe: 5
Duncan: 4
You forgot Russell: 11![]()

Well he certainly has the time to do it. Just like Lebron james has lots of times to at least win more than magic johnson, (who btw is his real comparison, not Jordan).
