son my hate on Duncan has been over the last 4 years. during Duncan's prime he and Kobe weren't even on the same level. Kobe has always rode the coattails of other star players success and that is just the damn truth. Duncan at least was the best player on his championship teams, something Kobe never has been.

What about 2004 Finals? That should have been a sweep for the Lakers and they blew it big time. The whole thing imploded.

You're still bereft of ringage. And you always will be.

Kobe has defended his le 3 times... Duncan 0. Now, go run and tell lil miss muffet I said that.
Sam Jones defended his le 7 times, whereas Jerry West has one measly championship.

    Therefore, Sam Jones>Jerry West.

    And Kobe Bryant.

2004......no ring, despite the Glove and Mailman hopping on the bandwagon.

    Kobe: 5

    Duncan: 4

    That's the total right there.

Kobe is 4-1 against Duncan head to head in the playoffs. That sounds like someone's to me.

Spurs beat the Pistons in the Finals and went on to win another championship....Lakers lost to said team in the Finals and it took their franchise years to recover.
