That's why he's got to make the pass. The Spurs have been successful when he's done that.
He'll probably roll out Splitter when it's too late... like what he did with Hill... then proceed to say he'll never make that mistake again... only to do it again...

Hill isn't a star.He's good enough as our 6th or 7th player.Even He was clutch in the last game.
Manu,Tim and Parker are who have to carry the team,not Hill. If he fails to do it you can blame on him.
Bonner sucks,Blair is not a lot better,Hill only had one good game..whatever...
But TP is our biggest problem right now.Our PG is playing like garbage.
They are 2-2 and still have their HCA.

I look at Pop and it seems he wants them to take those shots. Tony, Hill, and Manu aren't really looking for anyone they all seem intent on turning the game around by themselves, Hill I might understand, but Tony and Manu have a part of some great teams where Ball movement was key.
As bad as our backcourt (espacially Tony) suck, it's not even the reason we're loosing...
Z-bo and Gasol look like HOF in front of our bigs.
Our guards have to attack the basket more and draw some fouls.
We can't compete with that frontcourt... the idea was for our seemingly superior backcourt to offset the difference...

How is it possible that the team's greatest strength is 3pt shooting and we're 0/4? That is the problem. Pop even said it in his 1st Q interview, that we've got shooters open and the drivers aren't finding them. What is so ing hard about that? We've got RJ/Manu/Hill/Neal/Bonner all as great 3pt shooters and we have only attempted 4? That's the difference in the game on offense. On defense, outside the last 3 minutes of the half the entire team was awful, no matter who was on the court.
It's funny.
All these years we read here Hill isn't a PG or Hill is far away from Tony.
But now we are blaming on him like he was the leader of the team.

Both Mem frontcourt and backcourt are playing better than the Spurs counterparts.
Great observation by Mullins, Gasol and Randolph own the paint, no one is keeping them out, he noticed that when they get the ball they are already inside the paint, and it's to easy for them.
I'm signing for a 2-2 right now...
If our bigs can somehow find a way to stop Randolph/Gasol in the second half, we still have a chance. Otherwise, kiss goodbye to 2010-2011 playoff
