ball sharing is all they need and they'll be alright. If not, then it's 2-1 Memphis
-Tony Parker needs to get it going. I've never seen him struggle like this for no reason. He's healthy. The Grizzlies aren't concentrating on him THAT much. He's just not performing. Parker has been stepping up in these types of situations since he was a prepubescent. Wake up, TP.
-Manu Ginobili's energy is about 1/10th of Game 2. That is somewhat to be expected but the Spurs need his fury. Thought it's not a good sign that his elbow seems to be debilitating him more this game.
-Tim Duncan playing decently but he isn't playing with much of a sense of urgency. He needs to start commanding the paint on both ends like he did for large stretches in Game 2.
-I don't have much of an issue with RJ. He's hustling defensively. On offense, he's not getting many touches. On his few touches, he's made good decisions.
-Hill has had a few good moments but he's not playing with much purpose. He seems to be floating through the game and alternating between forcing the issue and playing too passively.
-McDyessBonnerBlair needs to play better. None of the three are providing much on offense or defense. Bonner especially isn't playing nearly as well as he did in the first two games. We saw a little bit of life out of McDyess in the second quarter ... but not much.
-I liked Gary Neal's aggressiveness offensively. On defense, he needs to be a bit smarter and not overplay so often.
-Pop needs to find a group that will bring the energy. He also needs a better gameplan for defending Randolph. Depending on fronting and flopping isn't working. A couple well-executed offensive plays to try to get into a flow would help. The bottomline is the Spurs need to play harder and with more of an edge. Pop has a played a role in the team failing to do that so far in Game 3.
The Spurs need a strong third quarter to get back into this. If they don't make a dent quickly, this could turn ugly.
Step up the intensity. Get rolling.
Get this game.
Believe.

He was stretching the bad ankle after the bump with Conley in the first quarter. Haven't heard anything else, but it could be a problem.
dont worry well catch up with a short defensive run only to be disrupted by pop putting bonner in so he can help the gryzz. put up 20 points in 5 minutes, and blame it on luck and "stay the course" just like bush &obama !!
Neal didn't get the memo: Lose this game.
Energy, edge, blah blah blah is not going to cut it. You need size to slow down size. Plain and simple.
Down 5 to start the 4th. I'd say the 3rd quarter was a success. If we can get the offense going we will win this game.
1-11 for threes. Welcome to playoff basketball, Spurs New Offense!
Ain't gonna cut it for an offense built around shooters. Back in the day the Spurs would be up big shooting this badly because Memphis would have 59 points right now.
