tp's "just missing shots"
he just hasnt looked good, and his explosiveness and ability to finish around the rim hasnt been seen in this series except for a short stint in game 2

in game 1, he was explosive but couldnt finish, game 3, there's no sign of explosiveness

tonight he had so many chances on the break, and he couldnt capitalize, he just looks so slow and tired for some reason

This is what happens when a coach is a screamer and headgamer. The guys get down on themselves. They're accustomed to getting yelled at and berated on a constant basis.

The fact that Popovich runs a dictatorship is weighing down the players, and his stubbornness is flushing away a great regular season. They know he won't play Splitter, so they know that Tim and Dice have to hold down the fort inside. Well, that's just not enough defense in the paint.

So I think the guys feel that whatever they do, it's not enough because Popovich is so stubborn and idotic. They feel like they're playing uphill with stiffs like Bonner in the game for 20+ mnutes.

Tony is discouraged because his shot isn't dropping. He got on a roll at one time there and Pop pulled him right away where he sat extended minutes.

If one didn't know better, one might see this as tanking games.
