Drinking tonight will make you say that! I can say it as well, but I will be delusional and be drunk when saying it.

I still think we will... we're just making it more complicated than it needs to be, and it's all our fault (no disrespect to MEM).

Duncan would disagree with you...he's awfully lonely on the block

Duncan needs to be the leader and demand Splitter get playing time. You know he wants to. It can't be fun being the only capable defender against 2 bigs

Duncan has never been the leader, infact this team has been leaderless for a long long time. All it takes is for someone to take the reigns but no one wants to step on anothers toes.

    Can, definitely. Will?

To be honest, will has been the biggest problem so far.

In what? I think SA should win the series, but I'm starting to have my doubts. All 3 games the tempo was dictated by Memphis...not a good sign, tbqh

I think people have to realize that Memphis could just be the better team. It's difficult for us Spurs fans to admit! I remember when the Spurs were where the Grizzlies are now at. The Spurs were beating teams that were on their way down. I had predicted 4-2 Spurs victory before this series started. Well, it still might be a 4-2 victory, but....

If the Grizzlies are so good that they can make the Spurs miss 20 chip shots and 20 open jumpers, then they're the greatest defensive team in the history of sports.

Dice is a capable defender, and has been in these series. Try again.

Will that change my opinion of San Antonio's front court? tbh I caught some of the game but changed channels in the 2nd quarter after I saw Gasol back down Bonner on the block two consecutive plays. I knew Pop wasn't taking the game seriously at that point.

...and after our victory in the grueling 7-game series Stern will make sure they have the shortest turnaround ever to play the OKC Thunder, just like in '06 between the Kings and Mavs series.

tbh, you caught the game at the wrong time. Duncan/Dice have been doing a good job on them, except for game 1. Then again, as 'great' their front court is, we've only lost both games by a measly 3 points each... TP playing normal is all it should take to win, more than any perceived front court deficiency.

tbh the Grizz could be up 3-0 right now, so the "close games" argument is kind of worthless. Especially when you consider that the other top seed (Bulls) have played 4 nailbiters too...difference is they don't usually make mistakes down the stretch. San Antonio (particularly Parker) looks inept in the clutch.
