As someone said earlier, I'm done. This is the most disgusting thing I've ever seen. Splitter proves himself to be the man in two ing minutes during an absolute must win game during the 2nd quarter, and Pop still only gives him garbage minutes. Absolutely inexcusable. you Pop. you for wasting an entire season. You have definitely proved all the Pop apologists wrong; you should definitely be fired.

Yep - that's what I was thinking. Spurs have ALWAYS been about defense - until this year. Coach Pop decided to let them have fun and play like all the "exciting" teams. And we see where it got them - a first round exit!!!

I'm so furious, I just want to scream and throw things. I had such high hopes for this team - and they just ripped my heart out. I hate Coach Pop right now - him and his smug comments.

I feel terrible. It's weird when life doesn't work out like you expected. This is like No Country for Old Men (seriously, no pun). It's a movie that shows sometimes bad things just happen and there is no reason for it.

I never contemplated this scenario, so I'm not sure what I feel.

There is nothing to respect about Memphis... they aren't that good, we just didn't know the Spurs were so unprepared and they are definitely facing their worst matchup - we thought the problem was with their bigs but it's also with the guards as well.

I don't think Lakers would present so many problems to the Spurs.

Pop reacted late with Splitter IMO - you can clearly see he can guard Gasol ok.

Also I don't think Memphis will be able to beat OKC - they are going to get raped.

Look at that body language - a totally beaten team. Very sad to watch, but not particularly unpredictable. I was worried about the Grizz since they beat us so easily a couple of months ago, thought they were a 40% chance to win the series. Looks like they will.

So, pull it all down and rebuild. Pity we have that mill-stone RJ contract.
