LOL? Griz aint doing anything special they're just taking away the 3. Yall ain't with no 3's.![]()
its interesting to know what the Spurs will do next game - will they want to take an early vacation or will they try fighting the big odds? who knows.
we can only say Memphis held serve so far but the Spurs have to win 3 games now...

This sucks. Big 3 just don't have it anymore. It's really that simple.
I hate how they rub it in our faces with,"All I Do Is Win", thats suppost to be ours![]()
We might win one more. If we catch some momentum, two more. We won't be winning three.
watching TD die a slow death is sad.
I remember having this same feeling after that last game with the Suns when the small PG killed the Spurs.
Turn out the lights..this party's ova..
Splitter entered in the 1st quarter. Splitter started the 2nd half in place of Dice. Memphis then went on a 12-0 run to put the game in double-digits and didn't look back. This isn't on Pop. This is on Tony with his SEVEN ing turnovers and our role players ( o RJ) playing like complete garbage. And Tim playing like he is 46 years old.
Hats off.![]()
Son, you've got nothing going for your team right now either...no answer for Chris Paul and Pau/Odom being destroyed
I can imagine this grizzlies team giving you a tough time
you mean manu and TD
I will not quit as a Spurs fan but this team has sure quit this series....
Grizz deserve credit and respect, they play the right way. If they go on to beat us, I'll pull for them the rest of the way
Spurs will win game 5. Then all of you will be talking comeback. Giving up at 3-1 is pretty pathetic tbh.
I'm surprised you never contemplated this given that we lost our way around game 60 (when we were beaten convincingly in Memphis) and never recovered. Rather than getting better after the ASB, we steadily worsened until the first 3/4s of the season seemed like a mirage.
My question is how the a team can play so well, with such poise, character and chemistry, for 60 games, then fall in a heap like this one has. Very sad to watch.
Wow. The Grizzlies totally dismantled, trash talked, insulted and physically beat up the Spurs. They backed it up and totally humiliated the Spurs.
Have you been watching? We're done like a dinner. This series is over. It's not about "giving up", it's about rationally evaluating the series.
Back to Basics next year... Team D... this run and gun obviously has run its course.
Now that the loss has sunk in, I'm really feeling sad. I can't believe how good this Spurs era has been.
the spurs need at least 2 of the big 3 to have good games to win, it hasnt happened once this series. pop as usual has micro managed minutes and rotations all season but once the PO comes around we dont have a gameplan, its unbelievable. our role players are worthless without the big 3 opening things up for them, and memphis is just killing us in the paint and making every J, we're giving them everything. But what pisses me off the most, even more than pop, is seeing tim, manu and tony go out like that, I really thought they'd try a little harder seeing as its their last shot at winning anything.
Hey, I have been one of the more sobering vocal people about the Spurs struggles in the regular season and I was scoffed regularly. While people were talking le, I questioned that severely, but not a first round series against Memphis.
If you remember, even against MEM I was one of the more vocal fans about how good MEM was and how it's a tough match up. Even then, I never thought the Spurs could lose to them.
With the way the team has at least been attacking the boards and with MEM's defense of the passing lanes, Id MUCH rather see the "drive and get it up over the rim" as opposed to the "drive and kick it out with an off target pass". Adjust.
You clowns have given up. With two home games left to boot.
Pathetic, and disgusting.
