i know they have never been eliminated in the 1st round while being seeded #1 (that's mav territory)

but what is the highest they have ever been seeded and eliminated in the 1st round.

also, have they EVER been eliminated PERIOD, when entering the playoffs seeded #1?

(not trying to poke fun, the spurs had a of a run)

Ah yes, the year Mario Elie was the Warriors starting center and Larry Brown couldn't figure out a way to get Robinson to take advantage of it...

The Spurs were the fourth seed in 2000. The Suns had the same record, IIRC.

Your Lakers annihilated the Spurs in 2001.

San Antonio was the number 1 seed in the entire NBA that year.

Being destroyed by LA or getting ousted by a vagabond franchise....kinduva tossup on the suck meter on those two.

Spurs were also the 1 seed in 1995 too fwiw.

I cant remember what year but didn't spurs lose in the second round to Houston when the were first seed that season? It was when Drob got abused by Hakeem and a Rodman team sabotage. It might not even had been in the second round, my memory has gotten pretty foggy from those year.
