doesn't matter...spurs can play really great and spurs lose...spurs can't win....refs have something to do with it

Tech, I was agreeing with you until you blamed the refs. The refs didn't lose the game for the Spurs. Father time and better play by the Grizz is the reason for the Spurs losing!

Nobody! It sucks that the Spurs may be done. When they officially get eliminated I quit watching the NBA. So if the Spurs lose Wednesday, I'll possibly catch one game before November, probably the last game of the Finals. And I won't even be paying full attention at that.

I agree with you on that point, but come on, you don't quit!!

    you just don't do it...

At least have the decency of waiting the last game before choosing to root for another team!!

Concerning the refs, I don't remember refs being so ovbviously in favor of a team, and not just 1 crew, it has been this way since game1!!

It's the 1st time I see McDyess getting that mad...

ANYWAY, call me crazy, but I STILL BELIEVE we can win this series, I really do.

The difference has been the 1st game (thank you Pop for not trusting Manu).
+ The difference with the suns sweep last year is that this time it's 80% mental, not tactic or talent, just mental.
If the spurs regain their confidence, memphis will discover the real PO pressure, they are not the underdogs anymore and they still have to close this series...

I'm a Texas teams guy. My favorites are first and formost the San Antonio Spurs, Dallas Cowboys, UT and the Houston Astros. Then if the former ones are out, it's the Dallas Mavericks, Houston Rockets, Houston Texans, and then the Texas Rangers.

If the Spurs get eliminated I want to see Dirk and the Mavs win it all. it, I'm a Texas homer.
You Sir are a great Texan....much props

Seriously, shame on you guys for throwing dirt on the casket already. The Finals ends for me when the Spurs have been officially handed their fishing poles and that ain't happened yet no matter how close to that reality it may be. YES I'm pissed at Pop and think he needs an intervention or should just go ahead and move to the front office and let some new blood coach, YES this team is an insult to the warrior champs of the past and YES it makes me insane that because of Pop's insanity the greatest power forward of all time will likely end his career on a depressing low note instead of a great celebration like the Admiral enjoyed. But at the moment this current series ISN'T OVER YET!

if the Grizz play like OKC the way they play the Spurs, i'm gonna root for them. Those bears have fire, something which i realize the Spurs team lacks. Hollins looks like a game enough coach and he seems to be one step ahead of Pop as well.

now that my dream of a spurs-celtics finals has gone up in smoke.... I'm rooting for the unexpected whatever that may be.........I'd root for one of the young guns in the west to emerge whether it's OKC/Memphis......

I love rooting for underdogs.....except in this series........it would be par for the course-Memphis looks like studs in defeating the #1 seed yet when they get to the next round, they will demonstrate why they were an 8th seed......don't mind me.....just my bitter spur fandom peeking out from its s ......

I might just be done with the NBA. I'm sick of the way Stern favors his pet players. He cares waaaaaaay more about the almighty dollar than he does the integrity of the game. If he really cared about the game, he'd do something about the ty officiating instead of treating his refs like they're untouchable gods.

I'm sick of the crappy officiating and the arrogant, thug mentality of so many of the young players. I miss the days of David Robinson, Sean Elliott, Steve Kerr and the other good guys who were truly TEAM players.
In full agreement with this statement. The refs are horrible and it all starts with Stern. The more I watch the more I realize the league has certain mandates these refs have to follow.

You guys shouldn't give up yet though. This is the same trio that's helped you win 4 rings. Until you guys are completely out of it, you gotta keep the faith. Sadly for me, it's not like you're the Mavericks or anything who only have a history of collapsing in the post-season.

    IDK.

I'm rooting for the Spurs to somehow improve their draft position via trade route.
