I don't think he actually learned. I think he just couldn't believe mid actually spent time in Hollywood. Y'all are giving history too much credit, tbh
Lol, history2b brings the same level of douchiness and a similar deluded sense of absolute knowledge when arguing over the picture quality of his favorite films (you have poor taste by the way) as he does to basketball discussion."A classic example of a consumer with no basis for critical analysis who just makes blanket statements about quality with no real knowledge of what is accurate and what is not.
I own both Juno and Forgetting Sarah Marshall and I will say with 100% confidence that both discs are accurate representations. PQ is completely subjective but accuracy is not. The biggest issue that people need to understand is that because of modern digital film grading movies are dialed in to look a specific way. And there isn't just one way to do it nor is there one way everything should look.
When you consider that aesthetic decisions are being made while sitting behind what is essentially a giant photoshop panel, great effort is put forth to give the film its desired "look."
So when this translates to Blu Ray discs and viewers at home are "underwhelmed" one should be able to decifer between whether this was chosen "look" of the film or if in fact errors were made during transfer; eg Dirty Dancing, Gangs of New York, etc."

Were you an Audio/Video nerd in HS, history?

Rofl. He actually participated in a discussion over the differences in pictures quality between varying disc formats of the truly outstanding film, "Wedding Crashers."

Make no mistake about it someone is butthurt about the exposing of panic disorders and sexual deviant desires.
No, Forgetting Sarah Marshall is not a great film nor is it a favorite of mine but rather something I enjoyed with the company of a significant other s few years back shortly after we got back from a trip to the Hawaiian Islands.
Not at all. Someone sent me your profile on the AV forums, and I got a laugh over how y and condescending you are in those forums. Seems every forum you visit you just can't resist being a got.
Look at him go guys!
He found some dirt on me![]()
And if you weren't butthurt, you'd have read it, laughed to yourself and left it at that. To know that I am would have been good enough.
But no, you are by definition asshurt.![]()
Definitely. I think I might consider killing myself if I ever cared enough to argue about the picture quality of Wedding Crashers.
You've already made such considerations. Remember that dark place? Just close your eyes and imagine life without Spurstalk....
It was a dark time in my life. I'm happy to say I've made a full recovery.
Sick burn, bro.
"Right. But there is a difference between subjective opinions on image quality and errors in transfer, grading and compression.
I'll take an accurate representation over any attempt to make things look "the best" they possibly can because that's exactly where there is zero consistency from studio to studio let alone viewer to viewer.
If you shoot 35mm film and scan it at 2k, 4k, 6k etc, then do a digital color grade and then output back to film its not going to look just like "pristine" film because its not. It is essentially data that is output back onto film."
Yep, Ladies and Gents, the picture quality of Wedding Crashers is this important to history2b![]()
And close your eyes and imagine life without accurate film-to-disc transfers of Wedding Crashers.
at butthurt eddie.
Nope, Patrick.
I mean, seriously, Wedding Crashers was this important to you?
http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showt...1107878&page=2"So I went back and watched the theatrical cut last night as I didn't realize their would be a difference between the cuts until Xylon posted screen shots. I had only watched the uncorked version until last night.
There is a pretty significant difference and this theatrical version looks solid all around. Much more natural film quality to it. Its unfortunate because everyone will want to see the Uncorked version but now I won't permit it and they're gonna have to settle for the Theatrical at my house."
You tell em' pedopulp.
Great thread. Highlight was DPG being on the verge of tears after Kori repeatedly destroyed him.
Was it similar to the tears you were on the verge of after Ryan Leaf treated you like his house boy on the golf course?
Damn, mid. You have to wait till they talk some more, and then you drop the hread on them. Kinda like to luva and Kool.
this was probably the pinnacle of mid trolling skills
He's itching for a place to post as cholo the kobe hating troll chased his kobe loving ass out the espn minnow pond.
