Wont make it even close to #29...
Ric Bucher just reported this is the guy the Spurs want if they trade TP.
I will literally die of laughter if true.
85% of the league smokes weed. The kid made a mistake, but he owned up to it. Thompson is a pure scorer and has the NBA bloodlines.
God no! Not another un-athletic, spot-up shooter, who is a poor defender.
If the Spurs do end up shipping out Parker, they'd better go get Biyombo. After which, if they truly want another wing player, they could potentially nab Honeycutt at #29. I like him better than Thompson anyway.
Is this guy a legit 6'7? ; If not, I don't want the Spurs to draft him
I don't give a crap how much weed he smokes. It shouldn't be illegal if used responsibly.
That said, he's not terribly athletic and may not be a great defender. Not sure yet whey you'd want to trade up for him, necessarily.

FORGET 'RUMORED,' MYSTERY MAN SPURS WANT TO TRADE UP FOR IS DEFINITELY KLAY THOMPSON... Due in NY yesterday, detoured to SA to meet Pop, RC
I think he's a potential target in a Hill trade(Size to play 3 and can shoot), though I think a Parker trade could get higher(and a better player), ie a target late lottery, but not at 5 or so.
well, he with De Colo in the back court, that will be......ah, nevermind
this guy definitely can't be the target in a Parker for pick trade scenario. if at all, he is the target of the Hill for a late lottery pick scenario.
what comes to my mind is, that last year they picked the player, who was labeled to be the best catch and shoot player in the draft.
this year they pick the same (or pretty similar) player for the same position?
yes, he could play the 2 and Anderson the 3, but really, do we see this work well?
if the Spurs offer for the pick was something like Anderson plus #29 pick for a pick that lands Thompson, well this would make some sense.
