Glorified karoake is all rap is. Nothing more. Nothing less. I respect, and actually listened to, old school rap more than the modern (c)rap of today.

There is a lot of awful rap out there, no question about it. But there is still plenty of jewels out there, you just have to look for it. The same can be said for pretty much every genre though.

please do a break down of "metal" or "rock" considering both have fallen off the map since the late 80's.
