Yeah, probably not. But I'll hold out hope! At least in getting to the Finals.

Preds and Red Wings will wind up in the WCF and the Flyers and Lightning will wind up in the ECF. Sharks, Canucks, Caps, and Bruins are all chokers so I'm not confident that those teams will be in the conference finals but this is hockey. It could happen.

My point about Pittsburgh elegantly made.

Congrats to the Lightning and Bruins. Bruins, youre the most heartless team in the playoffs, have fun getting bounced in the next round.

They are playing the Flyers........ yikes

By the way, why are Boston teams part of the biggest rivalry in each major league (except NFL maybe)?

    Bruins-Habs
    BoSox - Yankees
    Celtics - Lakers

Yeah, I think that's funny too, and was just talking about that with my coworkers. Pats don't have a true rival team like the other; it's the Colts now because of Manning, but once he leaves that will die out too.

    What about the Jets?
    Potential?

    And their tea-bagging Leprechauns

You're just mad because Boston is known as the city on the hill, a shining beacon of higher learning, producing some of the finest minds that the world has ever known...

... and Detroit is known as a place of crime and squalor that produces ty cars.

Perhaps, but it would take a long while... look at how long the rivalries you mentioned have been around:

    Red Sox/Yankees - 100 years
    Habs/Bruins - At least 50 years
    Lakers/Celtics - 40-50 years

It will take a long while for a Pats rivalry to even come close to any of those.

    And their tea-bagging Leprechauns

    Stop talking abooot Boston, eh?

IIHF WC starts today. We play in a group with Slovakia (host), Russia and Germany. We're so going to get our asses kicked...

Stupid penallties hurt the Red Wings in close games, so there is hope - if they can stay out of the box

They also need to address their 5-on-5 scoring

Doesn't the law of averages say that the Bruins have to get a Power Play goal, eventually?

    Boston ing Bruins !!!!!!!!!
4 OT games this post-season, 4 wins. And STILL no power play goals. This team makes no f'ing sense... but as long as they keep racking up the wins, I won't mind!

Now close this series out at home Bruins! Don't give the Flyers ANY life.

Also... 52 saves and only 2 allowed goals? Ridiculous, Tim Thomas. You deserve kudos.

There is something special about this year's Bs.

The hot goalie is there, the confidence is there, the 5 on 5 scoring is there, the OT confidence is there

    Wait....OT confidence?

Reminds me of the 1993 Habs
