This is the point I made in other thread. Much better this way. Memphis is still stewing about this loss, you can bet on that...it will gnaw at their gut for a year. Had they gotten blown out, they would not even think twice about it.

The Spurs won a nail biter in Game 5, but looking at these stats, teams who were on the brink of elimination that had a wide margin of victory tended to do poorly in the following game. Only once in the last 10 times has a team won in a blowout in Game 5 and also won Game 6. In fact, of those nine times it didn't happen, only two were wins by single digits.
Maybe it's good the Spurs won a close one instead
* 2010 East Finals: Magic win Game 5, 113-92, lose to Celtics Game 6, 96-84.
* 2010 West First Round: Mavs win Game 5, 103-81, lose to Spurs in Game 6, 97-87.
* 2010 West First Round: Nuggets win Game 5, 116-104, lose to Jazz in Game 6, 112-104.

They won't admit it, but that Neal 3 was a backbreaker for the Grizz. All the pressure is on them now. If they don't close it out in Game 6, it's over...the Spurs WILL win Game 7.
The Griz are toast.
There is no way in that they win another game in this series.
Mark my words.
This would be my best birthday present ever![]()
oh, how i would love that.
Don't you have a reputation of predicting exactly the opposite of what is going to happen?
Dude, tomorrow is my birthday....how did you know?
that is in the past....my jinxing is history
If you want to look at history, you should know that teams down 3-1 hardly ever come back to win the series.
Yup maybe it will let spurs have some motivation for game 6 ina meaning that Grizz still were better and they got lucky.
If the Grizz would let up, they would prob ulate all they grind to the game at they court
Oh...that's great then...
Add one more example, Magic - Hawks 2011.
Have a "Grizzlies are killing the Spurs" thread handy, just in case.![]()
What are the stats for teams that are down 3-1 and win game 5 by a close margin fewer than 5 points? You are not considering that side with the stats and conclusion you are making.
Again Spur fans just wanting to see things the way they want the outcome to work out the way they want it to work out. You clowns have been doing this all year long.
Add the 2011 Orlando Magic to that list.
What are the stats for when teams are down 3-1 and missed their best player in game 1?
history and records won't hand the victory to you.
1 game at a time.
but right, always look on the bright side. guys need to be motivated..
Amused needs to have a confidence boost in order to be able to tune into the game on Friday.
I came in to just do that.
I've been wondering for 6 years now how the you got the A in your le red. TELL ME NAO!!!
