2001 The LAL basically forced the Spurs to have Terry Porter bring up the ball. They would deny the other guards and force Porter so that way the Spurs offense would always start late. The Bugs have to do the same but make Bean bring up the ball. Normally, that's a bad idea but the point needs to be made that Bean is playing through pain. Do it to weaken him for later. It's like body shots in a prize fight. If the body is hurt, the head will follow.
