I know fans will have a definite perspective of what Gary Neal's shot meant for the 2010-11 Spurs only after the series is over, but I'm impatient. And just like the "Memorial Day Miracle," I think this game deserves a name.
If the Spurs lose Game 6 and the series, I think this game should be called "The Last Stand." Now if the Spurs win the series ... what do you name it?

The game was so newsworthy, they even had a segment and showed "The Shots" here in the New York local news... which is as rare as you're going to get...
NBA TV called it "Refuse to lose" when they showed the replay.
Personally, I'll only consider naming this game if the Spurs manage to win the series. Otherwise it's a throwaway moment in a wasted season.

Sorry to be a downer, or really just a realist, but for now we can just call it: Game 5; Round 1
True...if the Spurs get blown out tommorow, we won't even be remembering this game.

If the Spurs spend a lot of the season on a 70 win pace only to lose in the first round, we'll call it "Nealaying the Inevitable".

We didnt name barrys bounce in 3 or Tims 3 pter. Big shots in only get names during championship years.
