I'm pretty optimistic about this game. However, that optimism will go right out the door after Darrell Arthur hits his first 20 ft jumper over Matt Bonner...![]()

Agreed. Sadly.
I know it's not the norm of this series but I say the Spurs win big and win in a blowout. Games like game five can be soul crushers for young teams like the same thing the Spurs used to do to the Suns. We'll see.

We'll have a good idea if the Spurs have a chance at this thing within the first 6 minutes of each half.
It's all about setting tone early and keeping an even keel throughout.
Team has played good defense for stretches......team has outrebounded the Grizz for stretches all throughout the series (which prognosticators DID NOT see coming)......the reason why the situation is what it is primarily boils down to 1 things:
TURNOVERS
Take care of the ball and try like to secure every loose ball, even if you have to throw in a cheapshot here and there, lol.
And i'm not buying the whole "End of an Era" talk either way because I think regardless the team WITH the Big 3 has 1 and possibly even 2 runs left....but if it motivates the guys to ball out that much harder let them use it. Would be really nice to return the favor from game 4 in blowing out the Grizz tonight, but I'll settle for a win one way or the other.

we're going to need help from the basketball gods to get a game 7. let's do this!

We will tame those Grizz tonight!
a win would be nice
- Keep it within 3 at the half..Memphis is gonna come out swinging, no doubt about it..Spurs need to match their energy, of they're going to get buried quickly, and they won't have enough energy to make a comeback in the 2nd half..
- Don't double Randolph..let him get whatever he wants, just focus on the rest of the team..Randolph's passing has been phenomenal in this series..he's going to get his regardless, let him out up numbers..
- Parker needs to dominate..it's essential..
- Duncan must outplay Gasol..
If they get 3 out of these 4, I'll feel pretty confident..I'm most worried about #1..
In my opinion Duncan should concentrate on defense and let Parker and Ginobili worry about putting points up.
The Grizzlies need to play near perfect basketball for 48 minutes in order to beat the Spurs. They have done so in all 5 of the games. The Spurs on the other hand have been making mistake after mistake after mistake, yet, they still took 2 games.
If the Spurs can enforce their style for a full game, and play good basketball for longer than an 8 minute stretch, Memphis is in trouble. I have only seen Spurs basketball for a couple of minutes in the end of the 1st quarter to halfway through the 2nd quarter in game 5.
Spurs can take this game easily if they play up to their potential.
This game feels like 2007 vs the suns game 5.........Don't really know what to expect.
Stickin' with what works. Let's bring this back to San Antonio.
It's as easy as 1. 2.
Hopefully we can help him get rid of the biggest pain in the neck......the Grizz. Keep loose Dice.
'Tis a dreadful day to be a Grizzlies fan.
alright lets do this. keep the game close.
Can we please get a game where we're not trailing in the last bit of the game plz?![]()
Hopefully the Spurs really have the momentum after Wednesdays miracle and are not emotionally drained (like I am already) ...
Go Spurs Go !!!

Not liking the vibe here in Memphis. Lot of people talking about getting to OKC on Sunday. "All I do is win" is playing BEFORE the game.
Tony Allen seems ready to go..
