    Name: Rasho Nesterovic
    Height: 7-0
    Weight: 248 lbs.
    Pos: C
    Age: 26
Born: May 30, 1976, Ljubljana, Slovenia
Drafted: 1998, 1st round, 17th pick by Timberwolves

Rasho is a free agent this summer. He has a soft touch around the basket and is a pretty good shotblocker.

Personally, I wouldn't want him for anything over the MCE. He doesn't seem like a championship caliber player and has been deemed "mentally weak" at times.

    I pass2

He's on my B team for free agents this offseason. He's good but won't ever get to the next level, and he might drop. He'd be a decent pick up for cheap if we wasted our money on another position.

perfect in my book... unselfish, calm demeanor, improving, moves well... We got our go to guys we need a role player.

the senario I'd hate the most is BMiller. That guy is a liablity on D and his game doesn't fit in our system. Of course the nightmare senario is Kandiman :vomit

Gotta go with the Llama on this one. but I would not want Jermaine for the max....I could deal with Rasho for the Mid Level Exception though.

He would be better than Alonzo. At least Rasho would be healthy enough to play.

Might I add not play very well though.

    Yes, you may.

He's softer than Shawn Kemp's belly.

Rasho looks like he's either stoned or about to cry everytime I see him play.

Rasho would all depend on the price tag.

If you can get him for less than a full MLE level contract...(fully aware the spurs dont have this exception)

Then make a run for him...after you have exhausted better options...

I would prefer Rasho over Kandi though.

NY wanted him at the MLE last year. He's had his best year as a pro THIS year and he'll get more than the MLE for sure. If you're going to get a free agent you have to overpay. Rasho probably we'll start at under 7 and be a 4 year deal...

Seeing as T'Wolves just dropped four in a row without him I'm thiking they are starting to see his value and will probably come up with a similiar deal to have him stay...

We don't need anymore foreigners on the team. Isn't it bad enough that we have a ...*cringe* Frenchman on the team?

Minny might be lookin to change a few things up this offseason, if they have another first round exit. Problem is they would probably try and sign and trade with Rasho, and he ain't worth one of our existing players.

he's an unrestricted FA and we are under the cap. they would have no leverage if he wants to play for SA.

If they have a halfway decent gm, you can convince a player to do a sign and trade for "everything" you have done for them. It was just an unlikely scenario and a problem i made up.

Rasho should be one of the last players the Spurs look at. I can think of 10 other options before he enters the picture.

Rasho is the perfect fit IMO. He's actually a decent rebounder but he just boxes out and let's the ball drop to KG so KG can pad his stats....

His play in the playoffs is crucial to change peoples opinions though. (Kandi would be the worse thing that could happen to the spurs. BMiller would be a HUGE bust also)

I don't like Rasho. Most people who want him make the argument that there's some huge hole in the frontcourt, justifying them picking any big from the grab-bag of crap instead of a talented player like Kidd or Odom. I don't think he's much of an upgrade over Rose, and he's definitely not worth passing on a top 10 guy like Kidd, a top 20 guy like Jermaine, or a guy with the potential to be top 10 like Odom.

Rose is a great player putting up like 15 and 9 as a starter. We will have a huge hole in the front court when DRob is gone. Look at TD's minutes when DRob was out...

Odom would be the biggest waste of cap space out of anyone. We got 2 starters already that have great potential and just need playing time (TP,SJax)... they have actually proved they can get better and win too.
