Seems appropriate that the Spurs don't have the werewithal to foul after that basket.

The way we're playing, I don't know that we'd have beaten any team in this year's Western Conference playoffs, though I do think Memphis is better at this moment than NO, Portland and possibly even Denver. OKC knocks them out in 5.

Thanks for the effort, guys. You didn't have the talent your record suggested, but I least we stayed entertained for the whole regular season. I had stuff to do in May and June anyway....

I love TD, but it's time to hang 'em up.

    Here's to the future.

Still got a year or 2 imo. Depends on what else he's surrounded by.

Great job by Pop and RC. $40 million for a guy who can't even play in the 2nd half of a do or die game

    Jefferson = worst Spurs ever

Spurs join the Mavs club of infamy.

Memphis had some matchups, but this series was played upstairs. Poor coaching and mentally weak players is what killed us. A disgrace.
Time to blow this mofo up, starting with the coach.
I second this. It is ing time.

It's easy to be better when you're allowed to pummel your opponent and no calls. Randolph is still a punk. He's being treated like Karl Malone because he plays like the same kind of asshole but he's not even half that good.

The NBA wanted the Spurs to lose, and the Spurs didn't have enough mojo to overcome all the bad calls and ref tampering. It's not sour grapes - it's just true.

The Spurs had weaknesses and the refs were able to exploit them.
I have to agree. No one cared about this series. It seemed everyone just wanted the Spurs to lose and go away. It's sad that it had to end this way, I'm so frustrated with the officiating and with the Spurs not being able to play through it. And I'm fed up with these "classy" Spurs who won't call out the refs or the league for this . Sure, the Spurs could've and should've played better. But they had an uphill battle every single game and it just wore them out. I feel like the Sacramento Kings did after that horrible series against the Fakers where every single call went against them and they realized that they weren't going to be allowed to win.

Nah. Dallas was in their primes when they choked. At least you can say the Spurs are an older-than-dirt team. They just got out-played by a younger, hungrier team.

The organization is way too conservative for something like that. Pop will not stick to his word of riding out when TD does.

If D-Rob could come back with no back (no pun intended) Tim can come back with decent cast development and managing of minutes.

Mostly. I still believe the spurs could have beaten them if they played smarter. When the spurs got the lead by one im sure everone knew who the ball was going to.. the spurs made the biggest mistake letting him get that deep.. if they would have gotten that one stop i think they would have won the game but none of that matters now. Spurs are going fishing.
Wrong. Dice pushed him all the way out past the elbow before he caught the ball, and we are in the penalty so we couldn't just foul him. Dice then did an incredible job of forcing him into a tough, fading 15fter on the baseline, and he made it. No D on the planet could have stopped that.
