They overachieved. Many analysts pre-season had this team missing the playoffs or losing in the first round. They simply don't have the interior on both ends of the floor to matchup with a team like Memphis or the Lakers, which is why even when they were 44-8, no one was afraid of them.

They also got lucky with some fluke wins (their point differential was about the same as Boston and Orlando's) and took advantage of some opponents who had injuries to their star player when they played them in the regular season.

I think he might, as well. Not necessarily OCD, but some kind of quicky obsessional disorder. Here's a guy who watches Wedding Crashers dozens of times and can't imagine a life where he wouldn't be able to post on an NBA forum
