Re-sing RJ was the worst move of Pop/RC era. This is worst than the Scola trade

Even though the Spurs spent an extra ten million dollars plus to lock up RJ for three years, they actually saved money and you should be really happy that they did it. It's complicated, just accept it and bow down to Pop.

I'm not really upset about the Bonner resigning. As a bench player I'm fine with him. Jefferson on the other hand is the worst contract the Spurs have had in decades.

We have one in Splitter. Pop just loves his Boner.

not just Jefferson and Bonner - Hill and Blair haven't exactly been superstars (or decent role players) yet either. What has Pop done since 2007 - Neal (good to have him ride the pine in the last minutes of the game while you're down); Tiago - don't need height, the Spurs make all their 3 pointers, so it's not needed?

Just out of curiosity, how many more yearly playoff collapses must the Spurs go through for Pop to finally pull Bonner out of the rotation?

This. The old contract would have cost them ten million in luxury tax.

Still can't fully blame the whole RJ thing. He WAS the best option and hindsight is always 20/20... and a .

With Bonner I couldn't agree more. I wish we got him for a 2 million/year contract where his salary would ideally reflect his role (5/6th big.)

LMAO thats a bit ridiculous to say. Both are contracted at ~ 1 million (maybe even lower) and you expect them to be superstars.
