There's no need to Nancy Kerrigan Jefferson. It would only make him better.
He's not a fit for this style of play. He needs the ball in his hands all the time (no puns intended) and that's how he's always played.
The Spurs don't need another team's superstar to come in and play role player minutes and get 5 touches a game so the Spurs can parade their big 3 around the court for the fans to see. We need legit pieces who are willing to work together to win games. We don't need to win 60 games. We just need to be able to defend the paint and move the ball around. We can't do either it seems.
We are possibly going to be relegated to winning regular season games and struggling in the playoffs. If the Spurs keep the same game plan, they can at least keep a decent fan base.

Pop should have allowed Spurs fans to come in for 20secs at a time for the 10 mins RJ played. Would have put up the same numbers. maybe the grizzles would have thought it was funny and left the fan open for a wide open jumper. That would have been two more points then rj put up

Spurs refused to pay Jax, DA, Smith. they almost not paid Five-Oh in 2001 and then they give Jefferson that contract. RC and Pop are crazy
the day the spurs announce trading him, i would be more than happy to fly to texas and volunteer my time in helping the movers pack his house up. what made me so mad is that he kept leaving his assignment cheating on defense in the paint which led to open 3's. i seriously hate this guy..

The worst part about Jefferson is that he can't drive, or finish in the paint without getting set up by a few screens, or a great pass. He has no handles, has terrible body control, and isn't very strong.
You'd think with a 6'7, 230 pound frame he'd be able to finish, but that isn't the case. Most of the time he needs to put every ounce of strength he has into just getting the damn ball over his head, which usually ends up as a wild layup attempt (Remember his layup over the backboard?), or it gets blocked.
