I miss our former Muslim center. We would of had Allah on our side if we still had Nazr.

if you don't believe match-ups matter
The playoffs are all about matchups. But teams that don't play defense aren't built for the playoffs.

So if Memphis gets past OKC that doesn't solidify that they weren't much better than an actual 8th seed? Of course it changes the situation. There's a reason Seattle and Dallas are viewed far worse than Miami, when it comes to 1st seeds who lost.

In fact, this Memphis team has far more in common with a team like the 99 Knicks than it does with either of the other two. They definitely aren't a gimmick Golden State, thats for sure.

I was rooting for them before hand, but I wouldn't mind Memphis making it either.

last possession by the Thunder showed a big difference from the Spurs. Dice/Duncan/Tiago/Bonner/Blair would've done some dumb like pass out or even miss a wide open layup. Those guys need to dunk that .

Nazr was far from a game-changer while with the Spurs. Don't care what he does now...don't miss him one bit.

This mindset makes me giggle (mannishly).

There's no way the Spurs save face after the abortion that was their first round performance. Even if Memphis DOES find a way to get past OKC, SA should still be embarrassed by what they put out on the floor. And they sure as better make some off-season changes to adust.

I find myself "rooting" for MEM's team bus to crash.
As a Spurs fan I feel embarassed ... make no mistake about it. As said, I like the Thunder, but as the game started, I felt myself rooting for the Grizzlies. And that last comment from you is nothing to giggle about.

This is looking very similar to the Spurs series. Thunder have no answer for Gasol or Randolph in the post. If Memphis keeps on pounding the rock in the paint, there's no reason why they shouldn't get out of the 2nd round in 6 games. Post play>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>perimeter play always, except if your Jordan.

Still did more in ONE game against Arthur than Matty-boy managed to do in an entire series.
