Getting this guy would be the equivalent of LA snagging Ariza a few years ago.
Now this is the perfect offseason get for the spurs..They are going to have do something to make room salary wise this offseason, but this would make my offseason..
Ideal move IMO. Only move I want them to make. Get a big in the draft
I love his defense, but Idk if he'd fit well w/ this Spurs offense.
Cannot shoot 3. Pop says no.![]()
can't see him fit well. no impact whatsoever in the Spurs offense. didn't improve at all in three years, likely limited ability to learn a role.
will be 25 this summer. so no upside there.
looking at the Bucks, they might think about waiving Delfino, who's last year isn't guaranteed. he would be the one I want, if he hits the FA market. (for the right price, which IMO is about half of current MLE)
Screw the Offense. I think the spurs should go after this guy they obviously need a wing defender still.
For the right price but he will get over payed by somebody
I don't like the idea of reaching for a RFA. Although, he's a solid perimter defender.
Ariza's 3G% was in the 20s before he went to LA, and we have the best shooting coach in the business.
He can be taught to shoot the corner 3. Mbah a Moute is an excellent defender, he is exactly what we could use on the perimeter. Him or Battier because I doubt there's any way to get Iguodala, Tony Allen, or Sefolosha
I don't give a microscopic if he can dribble or shoot. If he can defend, I want him.
Being that he's restricted- Bucks will match anything the Spurs offer (which won't be much).
This is why I don't like reaching for RFA's.
One of the most overrated players in the NBA..
I think he'd be a good get to, always have - even when he was coming out of college. However, he doesn't shoot 3's well enough for Pop and his new "Mike D'Antoni-style" offense.
As a defender, he'd play a big role with the spurs.
I'd like him, not sure when we can get him without over paying
Bruce couldn't shoot when he 1st came too us, so....
Seems like he'd be a perfect fit for the Spurs offense then.
Not necessarily. Aren't the Bucks in a cap situation because of all the overpaid talent they acquired last offseason? It's not guaranteed they'll match because while he is a great defensive player, their team is terrible and they aren't anywhere close to trying to contend.
Some other team is going to try to overpay him I think. Spurs wouldn't have the money to match.
