Thats not a knock on Perk, he's just not built to defend someone as crafty as Z-Bo. He's built to defend big bodies like Andrew Crynum or the MDE. I'd put him on Marc Gasol if I was Scott Brooks....stick Ibaka on Z-Bo. Although that fat ass will still get his 30 and 15 either way.

Perk was ineffective last night, and looked slow. Will be interesting to see if he can step it up throughout the series.

Perk has been pretty damn impressive for a guy 10 months out from a torn acl. Everyone wknows it takes two years to recover from that injury. Of course if Kobe tore an acl he would come back in the second half and throw down some free throw line dunks but thats just because hes Kobe.

Randolph hasn't had to play D, yet..he's still a horrendous defender..unfortunately for him, if the Grizzlies advance, he'll have to guard Lamar Odom and Pau Gasol in the next round, they should be able to give him the only challenge he'll have received in the playoffs, up to date..

I think Zach's just in the zone this postseason. He is playing like a man possessed. In those last few minutes of Game 6 when the Spurs finally took the lead, he took over the game. I haven't seen someone just say, "get the out of my way, I'm going to score every single time" in awhile. He could not be stopped, Dice was all over him. I mean you really couldn't play better defense on him unless you were 7'6". He just finds a way to get the ball in the hole. That's why he's so ing hard to guard because he's got so much junk in his post game and a amazing touch around the rim.
Randolph was hitting jumpers over Perkins that were nothing but net yesterday. He has a strange form, but one can't argue with the results.
Z-bo is a midget for his position.. So Wilt would own him..
