Were Parker's votes from Memphis?
Congrats to both, especially to Manu. He had a great season overall, and led the Spurs in scoring in the playoffs and was leading the team in the RS also, if you discount the game against the Suns. One of the bright spots in this team. Too bad he is getting older...WeŽll miss him and Tim in a couple of years.
Parker is the spurs leading scorer in the RS. Not by much but he is
Yep, by 0.1 margin. 17.5 vs 17.4. But if you count the Suns game out, Manu would have led the team, because he scored 0 points in that game. A remarkable season anyway, he managed to play 80 games in the RS.
If you don't count the game Manu was hurt, you don't count also the game Parker hurt his calf and had something like 2 points. And then Parker is still the leading scorer in the RS
Anyway it's meaningless since the difference is very low and ppg is not the best indicator of how good a player is
Congrats to the both of them. The regular season was pretty amazing. Too bad they still found a way to everything up in the end.
Manu and Parker were the only ones on the team still performing at a similar level as they were in the championship years.
Our loss is not on them, no matter how you look at it.
i'm not sure if there's one guard in the NBA that you can replace Ginobili with and the Spurs get 61 wins. he was incredible. his +/- stats everything that needs to be said about how important he was/is to this team. you can't win a championship with a big 2, though. i've got the ultimate respect for Duncan, but this team was a big 2 this year.
they deserved it, congrats
