Glad to see Dirk ting all over LA. Kobe will never recover from the curbstomping that Dirk will give him.
Then I'll be eternally grateful that he got to 5-4 over Duncan.

    ha, ha.

Mavs won without homecourt advantage in L.A. They will get at least one game in Dallas. Mavs in 5.

Basically, like any of that crap matters nowadays Old man saw it all though, he is happy over Kobe getting 5 although SHAQ lead them to their first three.

Exactly. For this Board, where I dwell exclusively for Lakers purposes, 5-4 Kobe over the tired old bag is my deliverance, my salvation. I can go there anytime I want and immerse myself fully to find my contentment.

Greg anthony (on NBATV) says we look like the Spurs ... LOL
Not a fair comparison. For instance, the Spurs took their series to 6. They also didn't roll over and die on their homecourt.

Nah. Not this year. This Mavs squad looks focused more than any other mavs team I've seen. I think Dirk is tired of the crap he's had to endure and is finally carrying a team.
No rose colored glasses here. Mavs are the better team right now and L.A. deserves to be exposed for what they are right now;....a team that just expects teams to roll over never realizing that maybe a team has been playing well all year to kick their asses and not just coasting.......just saying.

All bull aside, here's to ya mavs. You guys are playing some damn good ball.

    see you game 3

'08: blew 20 pt lead game 1 Lakers
    '09: lost to a 6 seed
    '10: swept by the Suns
'11: lost to an 8 seed

    Spurs, the new Dallas Mvs
'10 the same year that the Mavs lost to the 7 seed?

Don't googlie all over yourself Stuart, you haven't won yet. The Spurs couldn't be the Mavs if they wanted to, because the NBA cannot take back the 4 championships.

Up 2-0 in a 7 game series and everybody is putting it to bed.

This is long from over. If ANY Lakers not named Bryant and Odom game one and Bryant and Bynum game two show up Lakers win both. They didn't and the Mavs did. Well earned and deserved 2-0 lead!

And that's all it is! A lead.

    Oh ye of little faith...

For the true fan, this is building into a classic. Could it get any better to see Cubans face as they walk off the game 7 loss after being up 2 on the away court?

Lakers are a much more focused team on the road post all star. Staples is no advantage anymore. If any team could come back 2-0 its the Lakers. Any team could blow it, it's the Mav's.

We got this. To those jumping ship already... eat a midnightpulp sandwhich and join his tuck tail and quit parade. To the true fans, it aint over untill the 48th min of the 4th loss. Until then, you will see no conceding from me.

They might come back, but there isn't a 2006 Dwyane Wade on their roster..Lakers don't have any players that can elevate their game to that level, in a big game situation..

Gasol and odom are stinking it up. Missing bunnies. The biggest key in differential in the series is 3pt shooting. The Lakers shooting as a whole other than Kobe has been all over the board. Give some credit no doubt to Dallas D but come on. This is far from over. If the Lakers take game 3 and are close late in game 4... were going to see if the Mav's really have turned that mental corner.
