It appears that the Bowens have quietly shut down their day spa and a clothing company.

“Someone had a couple's massage for $600,” Alcorta said. “They had driven down from Dallas.”
At that price I hope multiple happy endings were included.
No refunds on gift certificates...
Damn Bruce never lost his dirty defense it seems.
Some Mavs fans got owned.
Mike Finley took over the place.
The beginning of the end was when those ex-employees stole the customer list. It's really hard for a business of this type to recover from losing almost their entire customer base over night.
i dunno how you can make a profit operating that sort of business, if you dont offer happy endings and sexual services...everybody knows what goes in there anyway
He still owns the retail center and has multiple clients renting out space so it's more of a ego hit than financial hit. Something will feel that space up. The north central retail market is pretty hot right now.
This was breaking news 3 weeks ago.
It's been closed for a while. Rich athletes so often throw money into stupid businesses like boutiques.
It is a wise business move actually as he owns the entire shopping center not just the boutique and salon.
Anybody have details as to why the spa shut down? Customer complaints? employee turnover? Poor service?
SPA in San Antonio?
that was a bad idea from the begining
Nobody wanted to buy a bow tie with there massage!
Man, Bruce and Yardley were trying to get paid big time with those rates. Unfortunately for them this ain't LA or Miami.
I live very nearby to that location and the salon has been closed for a while now -- I'd say months, more than weeks.
On a side note, I saw Bruce on Saturday at HEB.
A salon and spa sounds like the business idea of a rich man's wife. At some point it becomes a job or someone else is left to run it.
The only reason he started that kind of business was to keep his wife busy. Sounds like she's moved on to wanting a new toy.
getting closer...
I didn't know you lived in Laredo.
A third Spur divorce in 12 months??
