They don't have much wiggle room roster-wise right now. Most of their contracts are locked in beyond the 11-12 season, so they don't have much that is movable. Their best bet is to roll with what they have for one more season and see if they can bring in a couple of decent role players that are willing to take less to "play for the Lakers."
